Meet Emily

As a Nebraska native, Emily’s been exploring the Omaha metro for a while. She’s always been one to research places online before visiting in person — studying the menu, figuring out the parking situation, and looking at their tagged photos on social media to get a sense of the general vibe. Because anxiety is weird. It makes the unknown feel more intimidating.

Emily wished there was a place she could look to get all of the info she wanted before going somewhere new. And she wondered how many other people would find that helpful too.

So she put her love for local spots and her marketing skills together to create the Omaha Guidebook: a resource to help locals navigate Omaha (and the surrounding area) with a boost of confidence.
