Location: Downtown (inside Hotel Indigo)
1802 Dodge St, Omaha, NE 68102
Anna’s Place is a (locally owned and operated) speakeasy-style cocktail bar that celebrates Anna Wilson, the pioneer dame of Omaha’s Red Light District. It’s a small room (about 30 seats) with dark red lights and a quiet, chill atmosphere. They keep it that way on purpose, so you gotta use your indoor voice and put your phone on silent while you’re here.
To find Anna’s Place, enter Hotel Indigo and walk past the front desk into the snack area. There will be a door to Anna’s Place on your left. If the light on the door is red, the bar is full and you’ll need to wait or come back later. If the light is green, knock on the door and the host will come out to greet you.
If you’re coming to the bar after 11pm, the doors to the hotel will be locked. If the person at the front desk sees you, they’ll let you in. Otherwise you can call 402-527-8690 to get in.
Parking
There’s metered street parking in the area. A paid parking garage is right across the street — route to Central City Parking Garage (enter on 18th Street for the shortest walk). Hotel Indigo offers paid valet parking as well.

Typical Attire
I saw people wearing a pretty wide variety of clothes. Some were more casual in jeans and tshirts. Others were more business casual with sweaters or button-downs. As always though, wear what you like and what you feel comfortable in!
Accessibility
There is a ramp to get to the front entrance of the hotel. There are no steps to access the bar once inside. Seating is limited inside, but some of the tables are low enough to be accessed while in a wheelchair.
